GlobalFeels is designed to be a safe, authentic reflection of the world's emotional state. To maintain this environment, we require all users to treat each other with respect. Leave a positive mark on the emotional map of the world.
1. Expected Behavior
- Be Respectful: Behind every check-in, note, and match is a real person. Treat others kindly, regardless of their origin, language, or mood.
- Be Authentic: Keep your notes and mood check-ins genuine. GlobalFeels is about capturing real human feelings, not spamming or gaming the map.
- Protect Privacy: Do not share your own sensitive personal information (like phone numbers, exact addresses, or passwords) and absolutely never share the personal information of others (doxxing).
2. Unacceptable Content
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate content removal and permanent account bans:
- Hate Speech & Discrimination: Attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
- Harassment & Bullying: Targeting, insulting, or repeatedly bothering individuals.
- Threats & Violence: Inciting violence, wishing harm, or encouraging self-harm.
- Sexual Content: Sexually explicit messages, unsolicited sexual advances, or child exploitation material.
- Spam & Scams: Commercial advertising, repetitive disruptive messages, or phishing attempts.
- Illegal Content: Promoting or conducting illegal activities.
3. Random Match Rules
Random Match connects you with someone somewhere in the world for 90 seconds. To keep this experience magical and safe:
- Start conversations respectfully. A simple "Hello" goes a long way.
- Do not pressure anyone to reveal their identity, gender, or location.
- If a match makes you uncomfortable, simply click "Leave" immediately. You do not owe anyone a conversation.
- Use the "Report" button if the other person violates these guidelines.
4. Country Voices & Notes Rules
Notes attached to your mood check-in are public and contribute to your country's emotional atmosphere. Keep them short, meaningful, and strictly avoid targeting others. Notes are not for personal attacks or advertising.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
We review reports submitted by the community. If we determine that an account has violated these guidelines, we may take actions including, but not limited to:
- Removing the offending content.
- Restricting access to features like Random Match or Notes.
- Permanently banning the account.
6. A Note on Safety
While we strive to keep GlobalFeels safe, we rely on the community to help us. If you encounter content or behavior that violates these rules, please use the in-app Reporting features or block the offending user. Your safety and mental well-being come first—if a conversation is bringing you down, it's always okay to walk away.
